Today was a very interesting day. Not knowing what was going on today about the trip (if we were going or not) i have to say i felt proud of my kids. Though not much details were given to my kids the still were able to understand the situation and adjust to make their day fun. Much shout outs to the 7th and 8th grade group, TOP DOLLAR TEENS, for their understanding and their showing us the ability to take action. Also, my SYEPs, they were a big help in this regard in keeping the kids enganged and having fun.
Got a neew idea for our lessons with the kids, instead of confining them to a classroom, were gonna take them outside to Crotona Park, have our lessons there and also a picnic just to get them out the classroom and in a new learning environment. The kids seem to LOVE this idea and are hoping it happens soon. But all and all, today was great, KEEP UP THE GOODWORK BEACON 219.
